In March of 1961, before Ronald Reagan became President he said, 

 

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men (and women) were free.”

 

Because of our laziness in taking our own freedoms for granted, our country is now on the verge of losing all that we hold dear— life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Time to arise from our slumber. No more will we take our liberty for granted. We will move forward honoring our inalienable rights by teaching, and imprinting the sanctity of those freedoms into the hearts of our children.
